The tablet of Sofosbuvir works by acting upon the enzyme called NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase in the hepatitis C virus, which is vital for the virus from multiplying. This prevents the hepatitis virus C from multiplying, that decreases the amount of hepatitis C virus in the liver. It helps in reducing the liver damage and improves the function of liver. It can be used in combination with any other medication that attacks in Hepatitis C virus in different ways. Dosage of Sofosbuvir tablets

  • The medicine of Sofosbuvir tablets might decrease the number of blood cells in your blood. You should tell your doctor if you tell you come across any such symptom.
  • The symptoms of low blood cells might include sore mouth or throat, mouth ulcers, unexplained bruising or bleeding, purple spots, suddenly feeling tired, breathless, or any other signs of infection.
  • Pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers should not take the medication of Sofosbuvir tablets.
